Weekend Shopping Trip

Nothing too exciting in my Kroger deals this past weekend, and I'm mostly picking up milk, bread, and fresh staples this coming Wednesday, plus some FREE Barilla Piccolini Pasta, in preparation for my c-section this Friday, . I will be stopping at Meijer to get Philadelphia Cooking Cheese for $0.50 and FREE Ronzoni pasta.

My drug store trips were more fruitful. At CVS, I got two packs of Huggies pull-ups for $10.15 out of pocket with sale, plus coupons, and $5 ECBs from my last trip, and got a $4 ECB back. At Walgreens, I had a $5 Register Reward. The Smuckers Strawberry Jelly was 2 for $4, and the newspaper was $1.85. I paid $0.85 out of pocket, and got $1 Register Reward back.

Weekly Shopping Trips

At Kroger this week, my mom and I were able to get 10 FREE boxes of Uncle Ben's Rice and 30 cans of Rotel for $5.10 total. The Rotel would have been free, but I couldn't come by the better coupons- they must have been a hot commodity! I kept 2 boxes of rice and 8 cans of Rotel, and the rest will go to a family in need of food.

Also at Kroger, I used e-coupons and the Mega-sale to get a FREE Dove deodorant and Pampers wipes for $0.49. The Johnson's Baby Wash was $1.50 (we use it for the occasional bubble bath). The wipes will go to a basket I'm making for an auction to help a local family- we still prefer our cloth wipes- and the deodorant will go to the shelter. Even though I was a bit nervous about sending my husband to do the shopping, and he bought a few extra things not on my list, the total was still right at the $70. Glad I left some wiggle room before I sent him out!

My Walgreens find today: 10 jars of Skippy Peanut Butter. They are on sale for 2/$3 and I had 10 fifty-cents off coupons. If I bought $15 worth, I got $5 back in Register Rewards. I didn't have any RRs to roll this week, so I paid $10 and got $5 back. The manager made a bit of a fuss, and said she'd have to check her stock first, but they let me do the deal. I was down to 1 jar in my stockpile, and we go through 2-4 jars a month easily, so I was glad to get them at basically 50 cents a jar.

Mid-Week Roundup

I have been on the hunt for a great peanut butter deal, as I am nearing the end of my stockpile. This week, Money Saving Mom is reporting a great deal at Rite Aid, where you can get a couple jars of Jif for FREE. Also, if you missed out on the FREE Finish Dishwashing tabs deal at CVS (the one where I got a year's supply for FREE), you can get it for FREE at Rite Aid as well. We've been snowed in with ice all over the roads the past couple days, but I hope there is still peanut butter left to take advantage of this deal.

Stockpiling Moms is reporting getting Crunchy Nut Cereal for $0.25 each at Target. Also, Kraft Cheese for $0.67 each at Meijer.

At Kroger, Frugal Coupon Living reports FREE Kleenex, Hunt's tomatoes for $0.16, FREE Colgate Toothpaste, FREE Kettle Brand Potato Chips. Also, there is a $1 off Pampers Wipes coupon. Wait for these to go on sale for $1.50, and get them cheap!

FREE redbox movie rental, according to the Free Stuff Times.

30 Valentines for shipping and handling only. Not too great a deal, though. Last year, I bought a box of 30 cars valentines and 30 Star Wars valentines in the week after Valentine's Day for a total of 50 cents. I'd say this will last us 2-3 years. We made our own last year by printing 12 personalized hearts on two sheets of paper- and the paper was free from a Staples deal.

Deal Seeking Mom reports FREE Dove Deodorant at Kroger. If you go to their website, just load the $2 ecoupon to your Kroger card. I was able to do so today.

My friend Brianne is reporting Giant Eagle is having 100 oz. Tide on sale for $10.99 each, and getting a $4 catalina off your next order when you buy two. Best deal I've ever heard on Tide! The sale starts Thursday the 3rd.
